Hosting this year? Before you buy new, look at what is already on our floors. Every piece at True Treasures is consigned, which means designer furniture and lighting at a fraction of retail, and nobody else on your street will have the same table.
Here is what is in our three Palm Beach County stores right now that is built for a full house.
A table that seats everyone
The wood dining table with six chairs ($6,000, North Palm Beach) is the easy answer for a big Thanksgiving. If you already have the table and need seating, the set of ten J. Robert Scott velvet and black lacquer dining chairs ($4,500, North Palm Beach) covers the whole family in one purchase.
For something with more personality, the Karl Springer style lacquered goatskin nine-piece dining set ($2,195, Palm Beach Gardens) is the kind of piece guests ask about. Need four extra chairs for the kids’ end? The set of four Safavieh dining chairs is $450 in North Palm Beach.
Light the room
A dining room is only as good as the light over the table. The Kalco Allegri Prive ten-light chandelier ($2,495, Palm Beach Gardens) is a statement piece. If you want the look for less, the ELK Home Hartford nine-light chandelier is $295 at the same store.
Somewhere to set the food and drinks
Buffet night needs a surface. Our Delray Beach store has a credenza at $595 that works as a sideboard for serving dishes. For the drinks, the vintage tambour bar cart with a palm tree ($1,795, North Palm Beach) is pure Florida.
Hosting around the kitchen island instead? The set of three Emeco counter stools is $1,500 in North Palm Beach.
Shop early
Consigned pieces are one of a kind. When they sell, they are gone, and November is when the dining sets go first. New pieces arrive every day, so if you do not see what you need, stop in or check shop.truetreasuresinc.com.

All three stores are closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov 26, and open regular hours on Black Friday, Nov 27.
